Return Policy

1. Eligible Returns

We accept returns in three cases, subject to the exclusions in Sections 5 and 6:

1. Defective products. Items with defects in manufacturing or workmanship may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date reported by the carrier. No restocking fee applies.
2. Our fulfillment errors. If we shipped the wrong item, report it within 7 days of the delivery date reported by the carrier. No restocking fee applies. See Shipping Policy Section 13 for how incorrect items are replaced.
3. Non-defective items. Unopened items in original condition may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date reported by the carrier, subject to a 25% restocking fee.

2. Defective Products

Prowireusa determines whether an item is defective upon inspection. If an item is found to be defective, we will replace it or refund the purchase price, at our discretion. If an item is found not to be defective, it will be treated as a non-defective return, and the 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require prior approval and an RMA number. To request an RMA, email [email protected] with your order number and the items you want to return. Returns must be shipped within 10 days of receiving the RMA. Returns received without a valid RMA will be sent back at the sender's expense or discarded, at Prowireusa's discretion.

4. Restocking Fee

A 25% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns. The fee is waived for defective items and for our fulfillment errors.

5. Non-Returnable Items

Unless defective, shipped in error, or otherwise noted, the following cannot be returned:

1. Wire
2. Cable
3. Heat shrink tubing (excluding unused factory reels)
4. Sleeving (excluding factory-sealed boxes)
5. Tooling. Defective tooling is covered by the manufacturer's warranty only.
6. Any item that has been opened, tampered with, or altered from its original condition
7. Special order items, including non-stock items and anything purchased specifically for your order (see Section 6)

Clearance, overstock, discontinued, and limited-quantity items are final sale and cannot be returned for any reason, including defects.

Packages refused by the receiver are not eligible for return. See Shipping Policy Section 10 for refusal fees.

6. Special Order Items

Special order items are non-cancelable and non-returnable unless defective or shipped in error. Special order items include non-stock items, items purchased specifically for your order, custom striped wire, and any material cut to length, such as wire, cable, sleeving, and tubing.

7. Shipping Damage and Loss

Damage or loss in transit is not handled as a return. See Shipping Policy Section 13 for reporting deadlines and carrier claims.

8. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective returns. For defective items and our fulfillment errors, we provide a prepaid return label for domestic returns. Items are the customer's responsibility until we receive them, so we recommend UPS or FedEx with tracking. Returns sent via USPS must be sent signature required and insured.

9. International Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, export documentation, duties, and taxes, including on defective items and our fulfillment errors. Prepaid return labels in Section 8 apply to domestic returns only. Duties and taxes paid on the original shipment are not refundable.

10. Refunds

Refunds, less any applicable restocking fee, are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned items are received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except for defective items and our fulfillment errors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Prowireusa's liability for any product is limited to replacement of the product or refund of its purchase price. Prowireusa is not liable for labor, installation, removal, or any incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or damage to other equipment.
